sorry for the dumb question, but does anyone think that these alsa things will ever be made easier to install? I did a stupid thing awhile back and totally trashed my system, and was too p***ed off to know how to fix, so I cheated and re-installed and swore off of alsa forever, if it aint broke I don't fix it. But other soundless linuxes like slack or suse might do well with the alsa thing, I just leave well enough alone unless I really need it. Maybe someday when I am more skilled, I will make an alsa installer/configger and donate it to the alsa project.
