toshiba satellite 1675cds
ati rage lt pro 4mb
64mb ram
6gb hard drive
mandrake reports everything correctly but
everything is still large
every attempt to adjust the size looks exactly the same i have tried just 
about everything
xf86config, drakxconfig, 
what else can i do?
i tried that site but every laptop listed there was no more info about them 
and none that matched my model.

 Which model exactly do you have?  Though I have not a Toshiba laptop, I
 experienced an installation on a Toshiba satellite pro 4300, and noticed
 a problem that could be similar to yours.  It was caused by the lack of
 support of the toshiba graphic card (S3 savage IX, or sort of).  The
 XFree site claims it is works under XFree3.3.6, but it is not true. It
 simply recognize it but has no driver at all.  The problem was solved
 using a patch for Xfree.
