Hi, I just asked Helix Update to update a few apps, it chose to do the lot, so I thought well why not? 30 or so megs of download later (I use a modem, not a DSL / cable connection) it politely informed that there was a conflict with one of the RPMs and died, with no trace any where on my file system of any downloaded RPMs that I could have tried to install manually. Mandrake Update also seems to prefer to install everything rather than somet things - and it would be nice if these applications would download and install apps one at a time and allow to quit gracefully (perhaps after next install) during download - or even use a smart 'resume' capable download manager in case of connection loss. Any ideas?
