Hello! I've installed the bind and caching-nameserver packages and also modified /etc/resolv.conf to use the local nameserver, because I want to have a caching nameserver. This works fine, BUT it seems to be slower than when I use the nameservers of my dial-up provider. I suspect this is because bind looks up names/adresses in the root-servers, and not in the nameserver of my provider. How do I have to setup bind, so that it only uses the NS of my provider?
