Hello, I'm trying to use COPYDIR (or MIRRORDIR) to copy an entire web site from one server to mine. I am using the syntax: copydir -v ftp://<username>@<domain name>//home/user/www /home/user/http The program starts, asks for my password, then starts copying files. However, it tries to copy a bunch of files that don't exist... There are many directories in /home/user/www, and it is trying to copy files that are in directory B, looking for them in directory A. Of course they're not there! Why does it do this? I am also getting a ton of "unable to open control file for reading: xxx: Permission denied" errors. I can access the file fine, I know I have permission. What's up with this? Lastly, I have seen my destination path isn't always used like I would think - sometimes it creates its own directory at the destination specified, with this directory being named something from the source URL! I just went to the cooker and downloaded and installed the latest mirrordir rpm, and it does the exact same thing. What's going on? Is there another program that I can use that would do the same thing? Bob
