If you want to get time from one server then send it out to clients, you need to install and configure xntp3. If all you want to do is synchronize with superclock or something similar, then install rdate and set up this cron job #!/bin/sh rdate -s time.nist.gov #or your favorite server hwclock --systohc That is the full script. set cron to run it once a day or every few days, as root. If you need help setting up a cron job, there is a great graphic interface called webmin. Start up Netscape or Konqueror http://127.0.0.1:10000 login root password <yourrootpwd> If that doesn't start up, then check DrakConf and click on the traffic light, and make sure webmin is loaded and starts at boot time. If not, Kpackage (from a root login) can pull it from the distribution CD and you can set it for launch at boot with DrakConf. -- Mandrakesoft [EMAIL PROTECTED] Civileme
