Okay, It seems that perhaps I didn't explain the situation in enough detail. I have a VA Linux Full-On 2500 with the following configuration: Mylex AcelleRAID 150 4 - 9.1GB SCSI SCA Hard Disks in a RAID 5 array handled by the Mylex BIOS 24x CD-ROM 3.5" Floppy Drive I went through the Mandrake install and when prompted I generated and auto-install floppy. I booted the machine, and it booted fine. I placed the auto-install floppy back into the machine and rebooted from it. The install seems to go off without a hitch (no error messages). When I go to reboot the next time is when I get the LI prompt instead of LILO:. This obviously isn't a BIOS setting, although that was a good thought with the information at hand. This obviously isn't something I can use GRUB to fix, because GRUB won't boot a RAID array (although again a good thought with the information at hand). It seems to me that the Auto-install doesn't correctly install LILO, and I am wanting to know if this can be fixed without me having to use another distribution?
