Alright, someone on here suggested using mpg123 to me instead of XMMS in X, unfortunately, I can't seem to determine the proper syntax for the command to play multiple mp3 files stored in /home/data/mp3 There are also directories within that directory, but I couldn't find a switch for recursive either. If anyone has some info, please let me know. I've already briefly skimmed the man pagefor mpg123, but after using what I oculd gleam from that I received a permission error. Thanks There's plenty of semicolons to go around
