Software losemodem. It might work if you find the right driver, but it isn't
a real modem at all, just $3 of hardware and a few hundred K of software
imitating the $40 worth of hardware of a real modem. The drivers are written
for windows and kept secret, so GNU/Linux systems in general have a problem
with most of them.
