Hi all,
Have an issue with my ram and would like a solution to this issue. 2.3.2 Specifying
Memory Size in GRUB
Edit the file /boot/grub/menu.1st as root and find the line which specifies your
kernel. It should look similar to:
kernel (hd0,5)/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda6
Append "mem=nnnM" to the end of this line (where nnn is the number of megabytes of RAM
installed in your machine) and reboot. This is what I found on mandrakeuser.org.
Question I have is how do I edit the file ? I understand that I open pico then what ?
                         Thank you, Chronos.
