Hi, I recently decided to install a new version of Mandrake. I was running a much older version than 7.2 so I did a complete reinstall. After the installation, I logged in, typed startx, and x started, my screen scambled and my system froze. I edited my XF86Config and changed to the way used to have it on my old setup, and I still have the problem. I am running on a Fujitsu E330 laptop. It has a trident cyber 9397. It has an active matrix display capable of 800x600. Anybody know what could be causing this? It's very frustrating! thanks, Steve
