It is possible using the original 7.2 release to have installed conflicting
packages if you used expert mode and selected 100%. This affects everything
from printing with CUPS (printpro got installed and its daemon conflicts and
also dies a license death in 30 days) to updating--Yes that is why the
message is there and too big for the screen and the update fails..
If you registered the software you should receive an update disk which will
work if you follow the instructions at
http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/72last.php3
But it won't remove the conflict.
To remove the conflict
rpm -e `rpm -qa|grep ^printpro`
and check your Zope packages and assure that you have no conflict there or
remove one of the conflicting files.
Also check the Glide installations and make sure that you have at most ONE of
the four, and take a look at openmotif versus lesstif (you should keep
lesstif if you use KDE).
There are a few others that might affect something but these are the major
ones.
Again, the bug isn't in the update--it was in the original install.
