Well a comment like that begs a reply.

I found 7.1 to be stable from a kernel perspective but most
of my usual "addons" would not compile at all.  All kinds of
package conflicts and bad versions...  I never did find the
magic sequence of updates to make it work.

I've had none of these problems with 7.2
