[expert] How do i create symlinks to run program with specific arguments?

For instance, i would like to create a symlink to konsole with the argument 
-ls
I have tried using cp -l konsole kt
then modified the kt properties to run as konsole -ls
it works when double clicking on the kt icon but not when running kt from the 
run program dialog?  any ideas?
