Just so everyone knows - yes, I expected it to be a virus or worse.

If YOU got it, throw it away, or run it on a box you don't mind
having blown up (and which is NOT on a network!).

I was simply trying to ascertain where the spammer got my
email addr from - it pretty much had to be one of two places - 
here or my new NIC handle...

It appears it came from someone harvesting names from here.
