I am still mentally gyrating over intalling XFree 4.0.2. My system is MDK 7.2, but I am running the 2.4.1 kernel (compiled from the source tars, not taken from the cooker rpms). Any thoughts on whether I am better off d/l'ing the tars from xfree.org, or using the cooker rpms from mandrake user? Does the use of the 2.4.1 kernel impact on which way to go?
