I may be misunderstanding what an FTP install involves, but isn't it booting
from a floppy and then installing all the packages via FTP? That's the
opposite of what I need.. it's the booting I have a problem with, but if I
can get the install "kicked off", installing the actual packages from the
CD-ROM is no problem..

I couldn't find any mention of FTP install in the documentation on
www.mandrake.com though, so if I'm totally off the track, let me know! :-)
