Hi list,

I'm setting up an FTP server on my machine and in the course of setting
up Anonymous FTP I've got everything working except AnonFTP won't accept
an anonymous users password, which should be their email address.

I've got a RedHat 6.2 machine at work that I used the same HOWTO to
setup the AnonFTP service on that I'm trying to use here at home and
it's not working. I used these same instructions here at home two weeks
ago with great success. Now, however, things don't seem to be working
out that well. I'm stumped cause as far as I can see I've got everything
configured correctly.

The lines

        ftp:*:95:95::/var/ftp:
                and
        ftpadmin:*:96:96::/var/ftp:

appear in the ftpaccess file per the config instructions. It's the
weirdest thing cause I'm doing it the same way I did last time when it
worked, but this time it's not. the message displayed in gFTP looks like
this:

---------
Looking up mdw1982.dyndns.org
Trying mdw1982.dyndns.org:21
Connected to mdw1982.dyndns.org:21
220 mdw1982.dyndns.org FTP server (Version wu-2.6.1(1) Wed Jan 10
07:07:00 CET 2001) ready.

Any ideas as to what I might have missed?
