That is strange that J-Pilot gives you problems, but pilot-link works?
What version of J-Pilot are you using, I have 0.99 running, with a USB
Visor, but it syncs no problem, even the initial load with over a years
worth of history in my calender went smooth.
Haven't used gnome-pilot yet, but I do remember KPilot being a little
flaky when I tried it with my Old Palm Pilot a year or so ago.
