Hello

I'm using Mandrake 8.0. How do I setup GDM or KDM to accept logins from
other machines?

On my Windows workstation, I have a X Server installed ("Lan Workplace
Pro"). If I start GDM or KDM and tell the Windows X Server to query the
Linux computer, it simply times out (ie. nothing happens). For GDM I've
changed /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf to enable xdmcp (ie. in section [xdmcp] I
changed enabled=0 to enabled=1). This didn't do a thing.

In kdm, I don't know where to look to change this.

So I switched to xdm. Now I'm able to connect to the login screen, but xdm
is ugly *G*. That's why I'd rather use GDM or maybe even KDM.

What do I need to do?
