jlemay....in the /images/alternatives directory of your 
installation CD there are, among others, these two .img files:

cdrom.img-2.2.14-BADZ2.img
cdrom.img-2.2.19-BADZ5.img

If you intend to install mdk 8.0 with an ext2 filesystem then 
use 2.2.14-BADZ2, otherwise if you intend to install mdk 8.0 
with a reiserfs filesystem then use 2.2.19-BADZ5.  In either 
case make a boot floppy with your choice of one of these 
files and use that floppy to boot your computer for the 
installation.  Then remove the floppy and continue with the 
CD install.
