Well, I'll havt'a try KisoCD. I really like KOnCD, but it and a few
others (eg, XCDroast, Gtoaster) error out when trying to burn 80min
(750+mb's) audio CD's from wav's. Problem seems to be as soon as files
are added to the 'to be burned' list once 650mb is surpassed, even tho
I always check the 'ignore media size' options. XCDroast errors on
calculating size, won't let you burn. KOnCD and Gtoaster segfault when
650 is exceeded in the file list. Gcombust doesn't have these problems.
I've recently burned 78 to 79mins (~780mb's) to 80min/700mb CD's using
Gcombust. I sure like KOnCD's GUI and simplicity much better tho. I've
never had a problem with it burning 650mb CD's, data, audio, copying
CD's, or making bootable CD's.
Usually I prefer the CL, but burning Cd's is one thing I like doin
with a GUI. Plextor 8432 (2nd ide slave) on a oc'd PIII, BX
motherboard system.
