I am wondering what people are finding to be the best option for an address
book. I am running a pretty standard Linux Mandrake 7.2 system, with KDE 2.1.

I need to do pretty much the standard thing with an address book: I need to
store names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, web sites, etc for my
contacts (I have about 500 right now). I need to be able to access it easily
from a mail client (I use KMail right now) and to easily be able to add to it
from within the mail client.

However, I also need it to be able to sync with the Addressbook in my
Handspring Visor. I presently use JPilot to sync with the Visor and I have
all of my contacts in the visor (I converted them from my old MS Outlook
contacts folder when I gave up windows a few months ago) but haven't gotten
them beyond JPilot into KAB or Abbrowswer yet. I don't use KPilot because I
found a bug in it that I cannot work with (when I uploaded the address book
into it, selectinng a category to restirct the display to caused it to glitch
and display all the wrong address data).

So, in sum, I need to easily integrate address book, syncing program, Visor,
and mail client. What are people finding to be an effective solution for this?

Neal
