You should edit fstab, not mtab, and the option is 'user' not 'users'.

Like:

/mnt/cdrom /mnt/cdrom supermount   dev=/dev/cdrom,fs=iso9660,user 0 0
/mnt/cdrom2 /mnt/cdrom2 supermount dev=/dev/cdrom2,fs=iso9660,user 0 0
