Sounds like you need to disable the ESS sound chip from inside the BIOS.
Have a poke around in there I'm sure you will find the switch .
uninstall the ESS driver or maybe both just to be sure and reboot.
hopefully Harddrake will see the SBLive and ireinstall the EMU 10k drivers
for it.
