If you feel like debugging, the grab that script from the server (use
wget), and set the URL in mozilla to point to the local copy
(file://<something>/proxy.pac) . Then start commenting out stuff until
mozilla will be able to work with it.
Also maybe visit mozilla's bugzilla...
