Hello All,

did you actually compile a program that used the crypt() function?

I too have the glibc libraries that were installed on the Mandrake 8.0 which I
have went back down to because it seems a little faster and the "Software
Installer" did not work very well in the 8.1 distribution also.

I get the same problem when I tried to compile things on Mandrake 8.1 as well.

glibc-devel-2.2.2-4mdk is installed
glibc-2.2.2-4mdk is installed

I can see the function in the include/crypto.h as well but I think that there is
some problems when the linker is working to finish the job.
