Hello All, I have recently tried both Mandrake 8.0 and Mandrake 8.1 with this problem bu have the same results.
I have a program that uses crypt() when it compiles but the gcc compiler cannot resolve the reference and I am getting " undefined reference to `crypt' " This is very strange because everything compiled just fine with my Mandrake 7.2. I can even do a "man crypt" and it tells me all about the crypt() along with " ldconfig -v" and finding " libcrypt.so.1 -> libcrypt-2.2.2.so " Does someone know that is going on here? Cheers, Lonnie
