Download the .src.rpm files not the binaries from their site...

Then "rpm --rebuild Nxxxx.xxx.src.rpm"

Then go into /usr/src/RPM/RPMS/ix86 and install the new RPM files you've
created.

Shut down your system fully, then restart and finish configuring X.

You DO need to shut down and perform a cold start.

|Subject: [expert] nvadia drivers for later 2.4 kernels
|
|
|
|Hi All.
|Thanks to all for the helpfull replies
|now that most of it is working :)
|where can I find the nvadia graphics card drivers for kernel
|2.4.8 > 2.4.12 The rpms on the nvadia site only load on kernel
|2.4.3. Bit annoying but if I drag a box across the screen it
|leaves a trail, bit like a mouse trail on ms win yuk. What are
|the known graphics cards which work with XFREE4.that are
|picked up on install and work without intervention , below say
|the $200 mark
|
|Thanks
|regards
|richard
