I'm using the 0.99 cooker RPMs, which scared the jeebies out of me at first. After doing a "urpmi evolution" and installing all the dependencies and evolution, I promptly started it up. Well, I couldn't access my Mail or Contact folders. Arghhh... Searched the Ximian bugs and found one that says you need to do a "killev" and continue on.
Now, it works great. They fixed all the bug problems that I had with 0.15 (so far). I really have to congratulate Ximian on choosing the right direction to push to get linux on the desktop. I've been using linux since RH6, but never wholly switched till I moved all my Outlook data to evolution. Now, I'm on a Windows free computer and haven't looked back. /curtis ><> On Thu, 2001-11-08 at 15:05, Angus Beath wrote: > I used the 8.0 rpms on mdk 8.1. It seems to be fine, quite stable.
