Hi Steve I do not know the state of the current kernel but my mdk8.1 box had and is still having problems with my adaptec SCSI card did not work, IDE CDROM would not work, finally I got another SCSI card, but had to boot from floppy. Now i find out AGP is not fully supported yet, i have been tring to get nVidia ge2 MX working today.
