He needs to upgrade :). 16 megs is very limited nowadays, and I doubt you can install Mandrake in such a low memory system. However, try the text mode install, and if you can get to a point (the sooner the better) to set up a swap partition, that may help a lot in finishing the installation. > one more thing is, with the above comp, (100Mh, 16Mb > ram) does cups run well? I mean the whole printing It might - cupsd usually takes up in excess of 20 megs, but most of that can (and will) be swapped out. It depends on how much printing (and how complicated the printing) you do - having more RAM is always a good idea here. You have to not only figure the ram for cupsd, but for ghost- script as well (unless you print directly to a Postscript-capable printer) and that can eat up 8-10 megs sometimes. > S.KIEU
