su init 1 cd / umount /home mount have fun
If you want to go into GUI to do this, just make sure the root user's home directory is /root, or something else other than home. Then, bring yourself to init 4, make sure /home is still mounted, and then enter startx under the root prompt. This will bring you into a root x session, and allow you to use diskdrake. good luck --- "J.
