Hello. To change the default boot partition in LILO (which is what I am assuming that you are using), simply edit the file /etc/lilo.conf under Linux, and you should see a line similar to:
Default=linux Change this to: Default=windows I am assuming that you haven't modified the boot labels since the initial Mandrake 8.1 installation.
