Well, I guess you and I are on opposite poles. <smile> I have not one single
need for any Windows app that I know of (non-entertainment). Linux meets my
needs quite nicely. The -only- reason I still have Windows on a partition is
because of games. So...WineX - out of the box RPM install and all, plays the 2
games I need Windows for *perfectly*. Starcraft and Diablo 2: LOD. Note that
networking works great in D2 but I can not get it to work in SC. I'm under the
impression that is one of many "to do" things being worked on though. If/when
that happens, the Windows partition on my 'Nix box is gone, gone, long
gone...(I might just trash it anyways) <grin>.
Note that in my case, Wine/Codeweavers Wine would NOT play Diablo 2. They both
did play Starcraft just fine though...Just "in my experience", as always
YMMV... ;-)
