Until it leaves beta testing, software is still considered > "pre-release". I went to http://www.mozilla.org/ to refresh my memory. The better term for what I've been looking for is "milestone". I have no idea why they distribute them from a releases directory instead of a milestone directory, but that's why I was using the term "release". Milestones usually are more reliable and/or stable than nightlies, which can have patches put in for testing, to see what will happen. Using OS/2 I run the nightlies mostly and find are report bugs and bug fixes fairly often. Some milestone versions are the base from which Netscape versions are built. The last was made from 0.9.4.x. IIRC, 0.9.7 was the first milestone that included tabbed browsing. -- "Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in his ways." Psalm 128:1 NIV Team OS/2 ** Reg.
