NO ! You don't need any commercial software.
First of all, make space with the 'defragmenter' of windoooz 
if the hd is fully added to windooooz.
To do so :
1.unhide your hidden and system files with 'attrib -H -S' and to see 
them 'dir /a:s /s'
2. have no other prog running as necessary when defragment.

Then use 'fips' (available in the 1st cd ) for resizing the hd.
