There are of course, many choices but from my personal experience, the Plextor
12/4/32 that I'm using is rock-solid. I picked it up from Tiger-Direct for
$149.00 and thats a SCSI-2 model. (downside is you have to have a SCSI
adaptor).
Thats been about 6 months ago, so you should be able to get it cheaper, or get
better specs. for the same price.
