Do you have just the one NIC, or is this machine a gateway for others? 
With just one, should be a matter of setting DHCP in MCC which is
presumably what you have done.  BTW which version of mandrake is it?

Sounds like you know what are about and I haven't contributed to a
solution, but I would be pleased to know how this resolves as I'm likely
to be using the same setup for customers.

Are you in Melbourne BTW?
