Hi, to run basic (dos) programs in Linux you need to install the dos emulator. He's comes also with a basic interpreter (don't remember the distrib). If your friends basic program is compiled then there is no pb to run it in the emulator. I tryed it e few mounths ago without any pb. mess-mate
