There is Xbasic which is a compiler-cum-development environment with its 
own graphic widgets and there is BASIC for X11 and probably a couple of 
basics in /contribs.  ML7.1 had a Basic language rpm on it.  Search 
Google for Basic for X11 and keep babelfish handy though I believe there 
is some translation from the German available now.
