Hi ! That doesn't seem to be a ifcfg-eth0 syntax, but a etc/pcmcia/network.opts... You should carefully the PCMCIA-Howto (http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net) and all documentation you can find. But don't forget that Red Hat (and, I think, Mandrake too) doesn't use the normal PCMCIA scripts, but their own scripts : my Ad-Hoc network is now working, and I did no set the /etc/pcmcia files... I only looked and the ifcfg-eth0 et ifcfg-eth1, and ifup-wireless. ifup-wireless gives to iwconfig the arguments it found in ifcfg-ethx... If you want, I can send you my configuration files...
