I have a Intel PRO/1000 T Desktop Adapter in my computer and I am trying
to configure it HardDrake faile with a script error:

insmod'ing module e1000 failed at /usr/lib/libDrakX/modules.pm line 549

If I try to insmod from a console as root I get:

[root@localhost msh]# insmod e1000
Using /lib/modules/2.4.18-6mdk/kernel/3rdparty/e1000/e1000.o.gz

Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
[root@localhost msh]#

I know the card works: my system is a multiboot and under win2k the card
functions;

The system resources used by the card under Win2k are:

IRQ 18
I/O BC00-BC1F
Memory DFEC0000-DFEDFFFF
       DFEQ0000-DFEBFFFF

I've also downloaded, compiled and installed the latest module src code
from the intel site. I get the same problem.

Has anybody gotten this card to work with MDK 8.2
