hahaha.... Well I had the plug part figured out, but it WAS indeed a pain to figure out how to make it work. Not plug and pray like would be great for the newbie. I didn't have to manually add it via a dev entry, but I did have to add some lines in my /etc/modules.conf file. It then detected it and installed fine. I LOVE IT!

Well, a relative charm, but much, much easier than just a year ago. I did have to create the /dev/entries manually -- not an easy task if a newbie were faced with it (they might think to plug in the friggin sound card, though), That should be part of the kwintv install script and I shouldn't be able to install kwintv without any dependencies, but I could. The mini-HOWTo was very helpful and well-written. I'm glad to see the general quality of the LDP docs improving.
