Yes. I am using a Promise PCI card with no problems. It's all the same to Mandrake - there is now IDE2 and IDE3 (hde to hdh) as well as IDE0 and IDE1 (hda to hdd). That's all there is to it. You will need to retain your existing slower hda drive for booting. -- Ron. [au]
