Martin, there seems to be some confusion around writing to NTFS, but here is the situation as I understand it:
1. RW access to NTFS is considered unsafe and experimental 2. By default the system will only allow root rw access 3. Lots of people seem to use rw anyway :-) I have preferred to take the safe approach, by sharing data bn linux and M$ via a FAT32 partition.
