Perhaps it would be helpful to rename the two lists: "basic" and "advanced" instead of "newbie" and "expert" with a published list of topics that might be considered most suitable for each list. i.e. a "basic" list focusing on topics that have most to do with how to get linux set up and running, not only installation, but how to get all of the most essential operations working; and the "advanced" list focusing more on topics such as networking, programming, development, and seeking solutions to non-"basic" stuff, etc.
