To be honest, I think I need a simpler explanation of the first method.
Sorry... my brains still fuzzy from teh drugs :(

I uh... could use some help figuring out which logs to look at in
Bastilles too... Please?  I am totally confused on which logs will tell
me of attacks/attempts to conpromise the system.  *sigh* 

Sorry Luv, I know damn well i'm being a PITA but...honestly, I'm really
out of my depth here.  Thx for you patience though (if i haven't worn
them thin).
