There is a remote Linux system that I telnet into. If I leave the session idle for more than 5 minutes, I get logged out or disconnected. I have read the manual pages for telnetd and have searched through "Running Linux" by O'Reilly, but I cannot find any reference to where the idle time is set for remote telnet sessions.
