I'm trying to install Mandrake on an HP LC2000 server equipped with: - HP NetRaid 4M - Symbios 53c896 SCSI - SCSI Adaptec 29160 I've tried Mandrake Corporate 1.0, Mandrake 8.2 and 9.0 without any success. Mandrake 8.2 and 9.0 don t even go further than the "second stage install". This step always failed. The Corporate Server succeed to load the second stage install but there is a problem with the HP Netraid 4M (the installation use the cpqarray.o). Only the symbios SCSI card are detected. Then , the installation told me it couldn t find any disk to install. For me it s a critical problem has this server is very important for a department business. A technical incident forced me to redo all drive on it. 2 SCSI Disk from my RAID5 partition had been damaged following a Fan failure of the disk bay.
